Terms of Use
Nutzungsbedingungen
This is a translation for convenience. The German version is legally binding.
1. Scope and provider
These terms apply to the use of this academy's learning platform. The provider is Future Builder UG (haftungsbeschränkt), Hammer Dorfstraße 148, 40221 Düsseldorf ("we"). By registering you agree to these terms.
2. Services
The platform offers curated learning content (e.g. videos, podcasts, documents and tool recommendations), a personal playlist based on your onboarding answers, and a community feature. Much of the content comes from third parties such as YouTube or Spotify and is provided there. The core content is free of charge. There is no entitlement to specific content or its permanent availability.
Organisations that would like to present themselves on the platform with their own content or their own area are welcome to contact us. This is subject to a separate agreement.
3. Registration and account
You need an account to use the platform. Please provide truthful information when registering. If you are a minor, you need the consent of your parent or guardian. Keep your password secret and tell us if you suspect misuse of your account. Each person may use only one account.
4. Community rules
When you post comments:
- no unlawful, insulting, discriminatory or harassing content,
- no advertising and no spam,
- no content you do not hold the rights to, and no personal data of others.
We may remove content that breaks these rules and suspend accounts for serious or repeated violations.
5. Rights to content
The platform's content is protected by copyright. You may use it for your own learning, but not copy, redistribute or use it commercially. Third-party content belongs to its respective rights holders. For your own comments you grant us a simple, free right to display them on the platform for as long as they are published there.
6. No advice
The learning content is for general information and education. It does not replace individual legal, tax or financial advice.
7. Availability
We aim for smooth operation but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability, for example during maintenance or technical problems.
8. Liability
We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence and for injury to life, body or health. In cases of slight negligence we are only liable for breaches of essential contractual obligations, limited to the foreseeable, typical damage. We accept no liability for third-party content or external links.
9. Termination
You can delete your account or ask us to delete it at any time. We can end your use with two weeks' notice, or without notice in case of serious violations of these terms.
10. Changes
We may change these terms if there is a valid reason. We will inform you about changes in good time. The current version is shown above.
11. Privacy
How we handle your data is described in our Privacy Policy.
12. Final provisions
German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer, mandatory protective provisions of your country of residence remain unaffected. If any provision is invalid, the remaining provisions stay valid.
